Slide Three

There are a few things to really look forward to in November. A proper goose dinner is definitely one of them!
With our traditional St. Martin’s goose, we’re kicking off the festive season once again this year. It’s a tradition we’ve kept alive at SPINDLER for many years, and one we simply couldn’t imagine the season without.
And where does the tradition of St. Martin’s goose actually come from? According to legend, St. Martin hid in a goose shed to avoid being appointed bishop. But the geese gave him away with their loud honking. Did it really happen that way? Who knows. What remains is a wonderful culinary tradition.
We’ll be serving our traditional St. Martin’s goose from November 11 until Christmas. Slow-roasted until golden brown and wonderfully crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Served the traditional way with red cabbage, Brussels sprouts and sliced bread dumplings.
Exactly how we like a proper goose dinner. No unnecessary fuss, just all the good things that make it special.
And the best part? Taking the time to enjoy a really lovely evening. With friends, family, or simply the people you love sharing a table with.
We’re looking forward to full tables, good conversations, a glass of wine or two, and kicking off the festive season together with you.
Our traditional St. Martin’s goose will be served from November 11 until Christmas. Make sure to book your table in advance, as seating is limited.
We look forward to welcoming you at SPINDLER!
